With 14 years of experience in the domestic abuse sector and service manager of our Specialist Services Team, Vicki Rawlinson-Coates is a seasoned professional specialising in complex work with victims/survivors and risk management, and her work extends to women who harm in relationships. Vicki has a degree in Criminology and is a qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) with hands-on experience in high-risk local authority teams, maternity and acute hospital settings. Vicki is also experienced in facilitating programmes for both victims/survivors and those who harm and trained to deliver various accredited interventions.
Vicki is passionate about supporting ‘hard to reach’ communities and those with complexities that can make it difficult for them to engage with services. Vicki leads on our ‘Lighthouse’ project which aims to find creative and dynamic ways to reach communities that are in need of support and believes strongly in partnership working to ensure the best outcomes for those most vulnerable in our society and is adept in considering intersectionality when tailoring her work with victims/survivors.
Over the past 7 years, Vicki has also become a trusted trainer, delivering bespoke Domestic Abuse training for both charities and local authorities. Her ability to tailor training to meet the specific needs of different organisations has made her an asset in raising awareness and enhancing the capabilities of those working to end domestic abuse.
