Training & consultancy from MyCWA, one of the UK’s longest-established domestic abuse charities. All income generated by Domestic Abuse Experts is used to fund our work with families who are experiencing domestic abuse.

Domestic Abuse Experts is a training and consultancy service informed by decades of frontline expertise. Our team of trainers are experienced specialists; working with families who are impacted by domestic abuse, including adult and child survivors, and people who use harmful behaviours.

Our Approach
We take a whole-family, whole-system approach to addressing domestic abuse, focusing on early intervention and behaviour change. By holding perpetrators to account, we work to keep victim-survivors safe. We call this our Engage Approach.

Training professionals to use ‘Tandem’ our toolkit to work with chid and adolescent to parent violence.
Engage: Do You Feel What I Feel?
Gain a thorough understanding of the Monkey Bob toolkit, and learn effective strategies for engaging children aged 2 to 7 in conversations about emotions.
Engage for Professionals
Training to increase your knowledge and confidence in working with perpetrators of domestic abuse. We go through the Engage toolkit in detail so you’ll feel confident using it at work.
Engage: Reset
This session equips you to deliver Reset, our 12 week healthy relationships programme within secondary school settings.
Engage PSHE Super Me
Gain a thorough understanding of the Engage PSHE Super Me toolkit, and learn effective strategies for supporting children aged 8 to 12 in exploring healthy relationships, safety, and personal boundaries.
Engage: Domestic Abuse and its Impact on Child Victims
This 2-hour training explores the hidden impact of domestic abuse on children, equipping professionals to recognise harm, respond safely, and support recovery.
Engage: PLUS
This comprehensive training equips domestic abuse specialists to deliver Engage PLUS, which includes support strategies for both victims and perpetrators.
Engage: Custody Suite
Following this training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver our Custody Suite programme – engaging with those who have been arrested, empowering them to make decisions on actions post-release from custody, and supporting victims involved.

This comprehensive training equips domestic abuse specialists to deliver effective support and intervention to those who are currently on police bail for domestic abuse related crimes.
Engage: Step Forward to Recovery
Step Forward To Recovery is our self paced, online domestic abuse recovery programme for survivors. We have made this available across the UK for organisations to purchase and integrate in to their package of support.
